Ensalada de Jaiba~Crab and Avocado Salad

Delicious and fresh crab and avocado salad! This recipe is so easy and ready in minutes!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces lump crab meat
  • 2 large roma tomatoes diced
  • 1/3-1/2 cup sweet onion diced
  • 2 serranos or 1large jalapeno finely diced
  • 1 red fresno pepper finely diced
  • 2 tbs of cilantro chopped
  • Juice of 4 key limes or 2 regular limes
  • 1 large haas avocado diced
  • Drizzle of olive oil
  • Kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Mix all of the ingredients in the order listed. Taste for salt. Cover and let sit for 20 minutes.
  • Serve with totopos(chips), toastadas or saltine crackers. Great on top of a fresh green salad!

Notes

Not a fan of crab? Switch it out for some already cooked shrimp, finely chopped!
