Helado de Mango (Mango Ice Cream)

  • 3 large fresh mango diced
  • 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup light sour cream
  • 1/2 cup 1% milk
  • 1/4 cup egg substitute


  • Add all ingredients to the blender and blend on high until smooth. Freeze in an airtight container overnight. Yields about 1 1/2 quarts.


For full fat version, use 1 cup of heavy cream instead of light sour cream and light milk.
The original recipe included using raw eggs, but to be safe I have updated the recipe using an egg substitute.
