My earliest memories of the family trips to Monterrey are of my Dad, his perfectly white t-shirt, dark sunglasses and the smell of his cologne, English Leather. I often am amazed when I think back and realize how brave my young parents were traveling with eight small children clear across the country into Mexico. It was tradition, it was like a fairy tale….
Embracing my Mexican heritage and sharing all the wonderful flavors, colors and foods I grew up with. Join me on this journey as I also learn new foods and cooking techniques. Dedicated to my parents Ramiro and Blanca.
